Introduction
Hillam are manufacturers of two and four wheeled vehicles with associated accessories. We provide a comprehensive range of vehicles to suit your competence and experience. We have manufactured horse drawn carriages for 40 years and we have a range of the most adjustable vehicles on the market, ideal for rough roads and fields. Our two wheeled vehicles are balanced and adjustable, with swindle trees, to match the size and weight of your horse, from Shetland pony to Shire horse.
All exercise vehicles are professionally manufactured, designed by ourselves for our own use. They have rubber trailing arm soft ride suspension, adjustable axles, back rest and shafts. Painted black as standard; other colours available on request. All wheels are fitted with new tyres.

Information About Us
John and Marilyn Hillam,
who run the business, both have a lifetime of experience with horses and
vehicles of all categories and are well known and respected in equestrian circles..
John Hillam is a farmer’s son and was brought up from a young age to work
on his parent’s farm, delivering milk with a horse drawn milk float to
doing all types of farm work such as muck spreading, mowing, turning,
sweeping, etc. He has also been in agricultural machine manufacture for
45 years and is famous for the rotating barrel spreader. John used to do Formula 1 stock car racing and was very successful during
the 1970s and 1980s with his self built cars.
Marilyn is a very competent, experienced driver of two and four wheel carriages and has exhibited at shows all over the country.
Delivery
Great care is taken to ensure that all vehicles are carefully packaged for transport throughout the UK. Only responsible carriers are used or delivery is by our own family support group. Please ask about delivery charges when you place your order as the price will vary according to vehicle, distance and location.
